Captain James Nelson was born and raised in San Diego. His biggest thrill is nothing more than
watching people catch fish. He loves showing them the sights and sounds of our
great city and all the fantastic fishing San Diego has to offer. James says,
"There is no better way to showcase the beauty of the great outdoors than
through fishing the wonderful lakes and bays of America's finest city - San
Diego."
James has been fishing San Diego area lakes, bays, and
salt water for over 35 years. He is a California Department of Fish and Game
Licensed fishing guide with a USCG certified Captain's License. He runs a DFG
and USCG approved 24' Triton boat.
Captain Nelson is a father of four, and considered
by many to be an excellent guide, educator, and a pleasure to fish with. He
